How to measure

Cycle time:
the time one piece actually takes at this station — timed part to part, without the waiting before or after. Not the time for a whole batch.
Changeover:
from the last good part of the old variant to the first good part of the new one. Enter 0 where there is no changeover.
OEE:
the share of planned time in which the station really produces good parts. From the machine report, otherwise estimated — entering 100 % means “no losses known”.
Operators:
how many people work at this station at the same time.
Inventory after:
everything waiting behind this station for the next one — on pallets, on racks, in the buffer store. Count it, do not estimate: this number drives the lead time.
